The book is covered with quality book cloth, and opening the book reveals a beautiful paper adorning the inner covers. The off-white drawing paper pages are sewn directly onto the cover using natural linen thread - this sewing is visible on the spine adding a nice little detail to the minimalistic design.

The pages of this book have a light grey dotted grid pattern. The dotted grid makes bullet journaling a breeze (if you don't know what a bullet journal is - I highly recommend googling it, it's an ingenious way to plan and record your daily life!), and in any case it's much less distracting than printed lines if you sometimes like to doodle as well as write.
