mixed media monday - acte quatrième
I'll write you about my trip to London next week, but today is all about what I brought to London myself. Delightfully often it happens that customers turn into friends. I made this little collage box especially for dear C in London. She has quite a collection of my work already!
I love how full of sunshine this little snapshot is, and the girl on the right reminds me of Pippi Longstocking with her braids! I wanted C to have some cheerful friends and lots of sunshine.

This is the second time I've used a vintage key for a hanger on a mixed media piece. This key isn't as old as the first one, but this one has Suomi Finland printed on it, so it was a most suitable choice for a present brought all the way from Finland.
This year there won't be an advent calendar here on the blog (it's just a bit too intensive a project for me at the moment), so I hope I'll have time to dabble with some larger mixed media pieces in the coming months. At least after the biggest holiday bookbinding rush has passed!
